A grand hotel on Maximilianstraße, built in 1858 by order of King Maximilian II, with a top-floor pool and spa and the Bavarian State Opera nearby.
The Vier Jahreszeiten has welcomed guests on Maximilianstraße since 1858. King Maximilian II had it built as the city’s finest hotel on his new royal boulevard, and it is still the only hotel on the street built by royal command.
On the top floor, the indoor pool and spa look out over Munich’s rooftops through tall windows. The hotel’s grand lobby and bars are a classic meeting place before an evening at the opera.
The Bavarian State Opera, the Residenz and the designer boutiques of Maximilianstraße are all on the doorstep, and Marienplatz is a short walk away.

Good to know
Maximilianstraße is busy with traffic and shoppers by day
Ask for a quieter room facing the inner side if you sleep lightly
