Cookie Policy

This page explains which cookies WorldBnB uses and how you can control them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. Some are needed for the site to work; others are only used if you agree.

How we ask for your consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse optional cookies by category. Until you accept marketing cookies, no marketing cookie is set and the third-party widgets that use them are not loaded.

Functional cookies (always active)

  • cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing and other cmplz_ cookies: store your cookie choices. Duration: up to 365 days.
  • pll_language: remembers the language you chose. Duration: 1 year.
  • tcwp_seen (local storage): remembers when our welcome window was shown, so it does not appear again for a few days. Duration: until deleted.

Statistics

Our visit statistics are measured on our own server without cookies.

Marketing cookies (only with your consent)

Set by the GetYourGuide widgets that show tours and activities:

  • session_id: identifies the visit so that bookings made through the widget can be attributed. Duration: session.
  • partner_id (local storage): stores our partner ID to attribute bookings. Duration: until deleted.
  • __cf_bm: bot protection used by the widget. Duration: 30 minutes.

Partner websites

When you click a link to book a hotel or a tour, you go to the partner’s website, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Privacy Policy.

Change your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time here:

You can also delete cookies or block them in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as expected.
