We are Emily, James, Olivia and Daniel: four friends who love to travel – and love telling others about it even more.
For years we swapped tips over long dinners: the hotel with the quiet room at the back, the market worth getting up early for, the viewpoint that is better at sunrise. WorldBnB is where we put all of that together, so you can plan your trip with the same care we put into ours.
Who does what
- Emily writes our where-to-stay guides and hotel rankings. She judges a hotel room in one minute flat.
- James writes about food, from covered markets in the morning to the bar with no sign on the door.
- Olivia plans our itineraries, day trips and sightseeing guides, and always leaves time to get a little lost.
- Daniel writes our destination overviews and practical guides: when to go, how to get there and how to get around.
You can read more about each of us on our writers page.
How we work
- We research every place carefully and check facts against official sources. Our guides list their sources and the date they were last reviewed.
- No hotel or company pays to appear in our rankings or recommendations.
- We never quote prices: they change every day, so we always send you to check live availability instead.
- Some links are affiliate links. If you book through them, we may earn a commission. It helps keep WorldBnB running, but it never decides what we recommend – read our affiliate disclosure for details.
- We write in six languages – English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Greek – so more travellers can use our guides.
