The forest of Vouzeron
The State forest of Vouzeron, about 2,200 hectares, was bought by the State in 1932 and reforested. Its tracks are ideal for walks and bike rides.
The château
The Château de Vouzeron was built at the end of the 19th century by the architect Hippolyte Destailleur as a hunting estate for Eugène Albert, the village mayor. In 1939 it sheltered Spanish refugees fleeing the civil war. Partly listed as a historic monument since 1995, it is privately owned and not open to the public.
