Sheer walls of volcanic rock rising hundreds of metres straight out of the sea. The best views are from the water, on a boat trip from the nearby marina.

Playa de la Arena

A small beach of black volcanic sand, popular with families and known for its sunsets.

Boat trips

Excursions along the coast look for dolphins and pilot whales and stop below the cliffs. Choose operators that follow responsible-watching rules.
